Image Cropping

Image cropping is finally here!

When it's useful

Multiple species in one photo
AI identified the wrong subject
You want to keep only the clearest part

How to use

Click an image on the upload page
Select the crop button
Define the area you want
Save and AI will re-identify

Cropped images are saved separately from the original, so you can record multiple species from a single photo.

Tag Collection System

We've added a new gamification element.

What is tag collection?

Each species has collectible tags. For example, if you record a butterfly:

Egg
Caterpillar
Adult
Dormant

You can collect tags for each life stage. Birds have male/female/juvenile, plants have flower/fruit/leaf - tags are automatically assigned based on the taxon group.

Where can I see them?

Check your tag collection status on the species detail page. Acquired tags appear bright, while uncollected tags show as locked.

Public profiles are now accessible at moeyo.ai/handle.

Profile URL change

Changed from /u/handle to /handle format. Old links automatically redirect.

Suggestion System

We've created a system for experts to help improve data quality together.

Currently available suggestions

Common/English names: Suggest names for species without them
Album suggestions: Propose new themed albums
Album species additions: Suggest missing species for existing albums
Tag collection: Suggest appropriate tags per species

Suggestions are reviewed by editors before being applied.

Invite Code System

Beta testers have received invite codes. You can invite friends to Moeyo! Additional codes are automatically granted when you reach milestones.
